Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accommodate custom flight routes?

Absolutely.

We specialize in obtaining permission to fly in airspace within Israel that is generally off-limits to civilian aircraft.

Do not hesitate to contact us at sales@discovery-flights.co.il and we will do our utmost to make your dream a reality.

For sightseeing flights, passengers must be at least 5 years old.

To fly a pilot-for-a-day flight, you must be at least 16 years old.

Of course we can!

In our humble and totally unbiased opinion, nothing says forever like proposing from 3,000 feet! We will be more than happy to help you plan this in an exciting and special way.
You bring your fiancée, we will bring the chocolates, wine, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. For any questions, contact us at sales@discovery-flights.co.il

For pilot-for-a-day flights, only one person (the pilot-for-a-day!) and the flight instructor are allowed on the aircraft.

For sightseeing flights it depends on the airplane.

For a Cessna 172: Pilot + 3 passengers.

For a Piper Cherokee departing from Megiddo: Pilot + 5 passengers.

Absolutely.

Our pilots can take photographs free of charge except during the Powered Parachute and Flight Simulator experiences. If you’d like to have a professional photographer on board, that can also be arranged. Contact us at sales@discovery-flights.co.il for more details.

We will get in touch with you 24 hours before your flight to confirm that it is departing as planned. If unexpected inclement weather prevents us from departing as planned, we will reschedule it together with you.

We operate out of the airfields in Herzliya, Megido, Haifa, and Ronit Farm. Our office is in Herzliya.

Please refer to the Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy in our Terms and Conditions.
